Block Requirements

Elementary Block Requirements: 

1. Students must be admitted to the College of Education and have a current background check on file with the State of Utah.
2. Students must have completed all university general education core requirements and elementary education requirements.  
3. Students must submit a Elementary Block Application. (Pick up from Shirley Wilson)
4. Students must pass the PRAXIS Exam 5031 with a minimum passing score of 150.

Secondary Block Requirements

1. Students must be admitted to the College of Education and have current background check on file with the State of Utah
2. Students must have completed all university general education core requirements and 95% of their major requirements.
3. Students must submit a Secondary Block Application (Pick up from Shirley Wilson) and a SUU Registration Add/Drop form http://suu.edu/ss/registrar/pdf/RegistrationAddDrop.pdf
