Getting Into the Program

1. Admissions Packet

·         Price: $135

·         Dates:

o Cedar City

v  Saturday, October 13, 2012

o St. George

v   September:  20^th

v  October:  11th, 12th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th, 22nd, 27th, 29th, 30th

·         Reading test – 170

·         Writing test- 170

·         Mathematics test- 170

Transcripts and a 2.75 cumulative GPA

·         Submit a copy of transcripts showing courses and GPA.

·         No course with a “D” grade or lower will be accepted

·         3.0-4.0gpa is required after admitted into the program.

Group interview

·         Schedule with Shirley Wilson: Ed Building/Room 324

·         Interviews are held during the first two weeks of each semester (January & September).

Background Check/ Fingerprints

·         Background Check:

o Access EBC

o Request live scan fingerprinting

o Pay your $74 fee online

o Answer all the questions

o An authorization letter and receipt will be generated

o Copy the authorization letter and take to any of the live scan sites in the state of Utah

o Have your fingerprints scanned electronically.

·         Fingerprints: SUU Public Safety Office, 36 N. 300 W. Tuesdays or Wednesdays 2-5 p. m.

o Take the authorization letter to the Cashier’s Office

o Pay $10 to the Cashier

o Take the Cashier’s receipt and authorization letter to the SUU Public Safety Office

o Have your fingerprints scanned electronically

·         Cleared fingerprints are only valid for three years.
